Dr. Steve is Certified in Chiropractic Foot Care (CCFC) with an emphasis on proper biomechanics, which start at the feet. He specializes in Chiropractic Foot Care utilizing the creation of custom orthotics utilizing a 3D scan of your feet plus other implements that can help the balance of the body including heel lifts. Condition that are seen regularly are neuropathy, plantar fasciitis and bunions. Too be included with this treatment plan includes the utilization of a class four pulsed cold laser. Dr. Steve has been treating patients for over four decades. A short list of the many conditions he has treated include auto and work-related accidents, pediatrics, TMJ, Sports Injuries (shoulder, elbow, wrist, knee, ankle, and foot), respiratory and much more. What is MLS® Laser Therapy? Laser therapies are medical treatments that use focused light. Unlike most light sources, light from a LASER (Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation) is tuned to specific wavelengths. Laser therapy uses light energy (photons) for tissue healing and pain reduction. The photons penetrates deeply into damaged cells and stimulates cellular activity. As a result of exposure to the laser (thanks to the photochemical, photothermic, and photomechanical effects at cellular, tissue, and systemic levels) it obtains the modulation of inflammation and subsequently the reduction of edema and pain. MLS stands for Multiwave Locked System. The laser beam is made of two different wavelengths and emission modalities that are locked, combined, and synchronized. This quality pulse is patented. MLS Laser Therapy can modulate inflammation and promote anti-edema and analgesic effects in a shorter time and with fewer treatment sessions than traditional low-level laser therapy (LLLT). This is due to a higher power output and the use of two specific synchronized wavelengths. The patented control system, which generates the MLS pulse, synchronizes the emissions to achieve previously unattainable results in a small number of applications. Thanks to the characteristic of synchronization, the various therapeutic effects are mutually reinforcing, promoting photochemical, photothermic, and photomechanical effects
